Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and well-blended.
  3. Unfold the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and roll to about ¼ inch thick. Slice into 2-inch strips.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling on one half of each pastry strip. Fold the other half over and press down to seal. Twist the ends slightly.
  5. Place the twists on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with egg wash (or milk) to achieve a golden color.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed. Remove from oven and cool for a few minutes.
