  • 1 box Strawberry Cake Mix Homemade cake mix can also be used.
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Oil Melted butter can be used.
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries Frozen strawberries should be thawed and drained.
For the Swirl
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Use at room temperature.
  • 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter Also better at room temperature.
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
For the Mix-Ins
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips Can substitute with milk or dark chocolate.
  • 1/2 cup Sweetened Shredded Coconut Optional.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans or Walnuts Feel free to substitute or omit.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix with the eggs, oil, and water until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the fresh strawberries, white chocolate chips, sweetened shredded coconut, and chopped nuts.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and unsalted butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla, blending until smooth.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the batter and gently swirl with a knife.
  7. Pour the remaining batter over the cream cheese mixture and smooth it out.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool in the pan on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before serving.
