Preparation Steps
  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed jasmine rice with full-fat coconut milk and bring to a gentle boil.

  4. Stir in granulated sugar and pineapple chunks, then heat for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving; chill in the refrigerator if desired.
