Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, adding olive oil and butter. Toss chicken breast in Cajun seasoning and sear for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium. Sauté diced onion for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add orzo pasta into the skillet, stirring to coat in the oil and aromatics. Cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly golden.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and sprinkle remaining Cajun seasoning. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until orzo is al dente.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, mixing with orzo and sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving, garnished with fresh parsley.
