Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sour cream, lime juice, and garlic powder until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta and fresh corn. Add chopped turkey bacon or chicken ham if using.
  4. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in chili powder and drizzle over the pasta mixture. Toss gently.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise with lime juice and zest. Drizzle over the salad and fold gently.
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions and allow to chill for 30 minutes before serving.
