Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the spinach with minced garlic for 3-4 minutes, or until wilted.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef or turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper. Fold in the spinach mixture.
  3. Take a portion of meat and flatten it in your palm. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center, encase it completely, and shape into a ball.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange meatballs on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until browned.
  5. Optionally, simmer cooked meatballs in marinara sauce for 5-10 minutes for added moisture and flavor.
  6. Let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy with spaghetti, garlic bread, or salad.
