Dough Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Gradually add warm water and oil, stirring until you form a smooth dough. Knead for about 5 minutes until elastic, then cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Filling Preparation
- While the dough is resting, mix together ground beef, green onion, onion, oyster sauce, soy sauce, black pepper, ginger, and water until well combined.
Rolling Out the Dough
- After resting, roll the dough out to about ¼-inch thickness, dividing it into 8 equal pieces.
Filling and Sealing
- Take each piece of dough, spoon about 2.5 tablespoons of filling into the center, fold and seal tightly.
Preparing for Frying
- Wet one side of each pie with water and press the moist side into sesame seeds.
Frying
- Heat oil in a pan, fry meat pies on each side for about 4 minutes until golden brown.
