  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder omit if preferred

  • 2 tablespoons butter olive oil can be used as a healthier alternative

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly coated.
  3. Spread a generous layer of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Place two slices of bread, butter side down, on a baking sheet.
  5. Evenly distribute the seasoned shredded chicken mixture over the two slices of bread.
  6. Slice a ripe avocado and layer it on top of the chicken mixture.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the avocado.
  8. Top with remaining slices of bread, butter side up. Press down gently.
  9. Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then cut in half and serve warm.
