- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly coated.
- Spread a generous layer of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place two slices of bread, butter side down, on a baking sheet.
- Evenly distribute the seasoned shredded chicken mixture over the two slices of bread.
- Slice a ripe avocado and layer it on top of the chicken mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the avocado.
- Top with remaining slices of bread, butter side up. Press down gently.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes, then cut in half and serve warm.
