Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups of water with 1 cup of dried hibiscus petals. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.

  3. Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into a heatproof bowl, discarding petals.
  5. While warm, stir in 1/4 cup of sugar until dissolved.
  6. Once cooled, blend in 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice and 1/2 cup of strawberry puree.
  7. In a separate glass, pour 1 cup of cold water.
  8. Combine the hibiscus tea mixture with the cold water, mixing thoroughly.
  9. Fill serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the refresher over them.
  10. Serve immediately for the best experience.
