Preparation Steps
- Crush 24 Golden Oreo cookies into fine crumbs and mix with ½ cup of melted salted butter. Press into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together 2 packages of instant lemon pudding mix and 3 ¼ cups of milk for about 2 minutes. Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
- Beat 1 block of softened cream cheese with 1 cup of powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 container of Cool Whip.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust, then add the thickened lemon pudding, and top with the remaining Cool Whip.
- Sprinkle reserved crushed Oreo cookies on top, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
