- Combine 1 cup of creamy peanut butter and 1/3 cup of maple syrup in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Stir in 2 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats until evenly coated.
- Spoon the mixture into silicon molds, filling each mold 3/4 full and pressing down firmly.
- Add a generous dollop of additional peanut butter on top of each cup, optional to mix with protein powder.
- Freeze for about 20 minutes until set but not rock-solid.
- Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in increments and stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over each oat cup using a spoon or piping bag.
- Return to the freezer for another 20 minutes to harden the chocolate.
- Carefully remove the cups from molds, sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired, and enjoy.
