Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter or olive oil.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. Place salmon skin-side up in the skillet.
  3. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the tops are golden brown, then flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until it reaches 145°F internal temperature.
  4. Remove the salmon from the skillet and cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and cornstarch slurry.
  6. Return the salmon to the skillet, gently coat with the glaze, and cook for an additional minute.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm with your favorite sides.
