  1. Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a rolling boil (about 5-7 minutes).
  2. Once boiling, add noodles to the pot and cook according to package instructions (usually 8-10 minutes).
  3. In a medium pan over medium heat, add unsalted butter and melt gently (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Stir in miso paste and soy sauce into the melted butter, mixing for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  5. Drain cooked noodles, reserving 1/4 cup of pasta water, and add them to the pan with the sauce.
  6. Gradually add reserved pasta water while stirring until desired sauce thickness is reached.
