Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray an 8 ½ x 4 ½-inch loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; whisk until blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla until combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- While the loaf is warm, brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over it.
