  • 1 pound Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning adjust heat as desired
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
For the Cream Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream can substitute with half-and-half
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or use olive oil
For the Sides
  • 2 cups Mashed Potatoes or mashed sweet potatoes
  • 2 cups Green Beans can substitute asparagus or bell peppers

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the shrimp and salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add butter. Sear salmon skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook another 3-4 minutes. Add shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque.
  2. Remove seafood from the skillet. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
  3. Boil salted water and cook peeled diced potatoes for 15 minutes until tender. Drain, add butter, and mash until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Melt butter in another skillet, add green beans and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp. Season and remove from heat.
  5. Plate with mashed potatoes, seared salmon, Cajun shrimp on top, drizzle with garlic cream sauce, and serve green beans on the side.
