  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened) can substitute with cottage cheese
  • 8 oz Crab Meat or imitation crab
  • 2 stalks Green Onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Swerve Confectioners Sugar Substitute optional
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine crab meat, softened cream cheese, finely chopped green onions, optional Swerve sugar substitute, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Mix until thoroughly combined.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, xanthan gum, and soy sauce. Mix with melted cheese until a cohesive dough forms. Knead gently.
  5. Divide the dough into eight pieces, rolling each into a ball and then flattening into a disk about 3-4 inches in diameter.
  6. Spoon filling into the center of each dough disk, fold the dough around the filling, and pinch to seal.
  7. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
